Cheyenne Center For Creativity
The Cheyenne Center For Creativity was awarded a Cheyenne County Impact Fund Grant of $3,000 in 2021.
The purpose of this grant is two-fold:
• The opportunity to be addressed is the development of state-of-the-art information and communication technology in each space of the facility at 202 on Washington: the Community Event Center, the Commercial Kitchen, and the expanded Art Gallery, as well as the adjacent small meeting room. These capabilities would include:
o Security System
o Projection and Sound Systems
o Computer connectivity
o Streaming and internet connectivity
o Virtual conferencing
This focus was determined by Planning /Building Team members after conferring with community members, the CCDC director, the Director of CEO Engagement at the Kansas Leadership Center, and with Reach Solutions,Inc.
• The problem to be addressed is CC4C’s need to add additional funds to meet the goal of raising the $250,000 that is required by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation in order to receive the $100,000 “Grant to Purchase” that was awarded to CC4C with that contingency. The Impact Grant award would help CC4C move toward achieving that goal.
