Cougar Cub Daycare
The Cougar Cub Daycare was awarded a Cheyenne County Impact Fund Grant of $382.19 in 2019.
We were fortunate enough to receive funding in mid-2018 from a Hansen Grant to purchase a fabulous playground set for our toddlers that was put together and installed by volunteers. Our toddlers and older students really love to play outside on our new playground equipment, however, we also lost our infant swings when our playground set was damaged in a wind storm in March of 2018. We have had nowhere for our infants to play while outdoors with the older students.
The Cougar Cub Daycare needs to further develop its outdoor playground for our infants. The infants that attend our daycare are in need of outdoor equipment that is age appropriate and safe for them to play in/on outside.
The number of infants attending daycare is growing substantially every year. When all of the students are outside with the teacher, the infants are limited as to where they can be safely set down and kept entertained. Purchasing two infant swings would both help free the hand of the teacher and help keep the little ones entertained.
