The Cheyenne County Village (CCV) Landscaping project received $10,000 from the Community Grant Fund and was also funded by both the Cheyenne County Impact Fund and St. Francis New Generation Fund. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the new addition of the assisted living facility to the CCV campus lacked the funds to complete the landscaping after the new facility was finished in 2018. The area was all dirt which would soon turn to mud if landscaping was not added. CCKCF provided a total of $13,750 from three funds for the project. With an additional grant of $50,000 from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation directly, the project was completed protecting the area around the new facility with beautiful landscaping.
